John Evans and his family arrived in Portugal in the Spring of 1972. He immediately set about building a new home close to the Penina Golf Hotel (where he still lives) and opened his first office in the centre of Portimão in 1973.

In 1979 he moved offices to the company's current site at Rua Júdice Biker in Portimão, which is now home to all the different aspects of the company's property business.

John R. Evans is very much a family business with wife Jane running the property management and rentals division. A very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful Anglo - Portuguese staff, headed by Xavier Rodrigues and assisted by Filipa and Sonia are always available to answer all queries and to show properties to prospective purchasers.

As fully licenced and insured estate agents, John R. Evans - Realsol Lda. are licenced to carry out all aspects of property sales and transfer in Portugal and all aspects of the business are handled in house making for a safe and efficient service.
